Born on April 28, 1979, in the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nick Imudia’s educational journey began in Finland, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Management from the Mikkeli Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1997. He continued his studies at Aalborg University, obtaining a Master of Engineering degree in Oil and Gas Technology in 2000. Imudia later pursued an MBA in International Business Management from the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in 2012.

Imudia’s career spanned various roles and industries. He started as a Design Engineer and Solution Manager at NTC and Nok, respectively. He then joined Nokia, where he rose to become the General Manager/Managing Director, overseeing Nokia Device Business and Operations in West and Central Africa. After an eight-year tenure at Nokia, Imudia became the Regional Director of Alcatel OneTouch in Nigeria and Central Africa.
In April 2018, Imudia took on the role of CEO at Konga, where he served until October 2022. He then moved to Nairobi, Kenya, to become the Group Chief Executive Officer of d.light, a renewable energy provider, a position he held until his death.
